Crank's Custom Canines

We reached out to Cranks Custom Canines after our chihuahua mix & corgi mix got in a fight and couldn't coexist anymore. We consulted with multiple trainers and Gene & Jen were the only ones who made us feel like there was hope. When our dogs were boarding & training with them for 3 weeks, they communicated with us the entire time and were thoughtful of everyones needs. Our dogs' behavior has improved drastically and they are playing again, which is better than what we expected the outcome to be. We can go on walks now without worrying about inappropriate barking & we have tools to maintain a happy home. No matter how hard it was they did not give up on us or our pups, and we're so grateful.

Outstanding results. My Belgian Malinois is a transformed pup. I adopted my mal from the LA county shelter. She was a stray and would not tolerate other dogs. Smaller dogs were the least tolerated. Walking her was stressful and injuring my shoulder due to her dog reactiveness. I was at my wits end. Neighbors were suggesting I consider re-homing her. Thank goodness a friend referred me to Jean. I dropped my pup off with Jean and Jennifer. They transformed my young female into a well-balanced pup. She is comfortable and well-mannered around all sizes and all energy levels now. What a relief! The neighbors are astonished at how different she it now. Great work Jean and Jennifer!!

Gene and Jen are amazing. Gene is patient, intuitive and connected to our pup immediately. He knows dogs better than anyone I have been around. Koa, our GSD puppy has transformed in 7 weeks and we owe it all to Gene and Jen. They respond immediately to any questions and are very supportive of my wife and I as we learn along side our pup. We highly recommend them to anyone who wants to get the most out of their dog regardless of age.

I can’t thank Crank’s Custom Canines enough. My dog was displaying reactive behaviors and Gene was phenomenal at explaining how to help her overcome that. She did a 3 week board and train and it’s been night and day. Jen was so attentive with communication by sending pictures, videos, and updates. She helped put my mind at ease. Alright where do I start? Firstly- I’d leave 100 stars if I could. My border collie mix puppy dog, Izabelle, was one HOT head for the last 2 1/2 years of her life due to being around another extremely aggressive dog from 10 weeks to 7 months old. She picked up just about EVERY bad habit this other dog exhibited while they coexisted together. She legitimately was a massive liability as she did not like anyone or anything outside of our immediate family. I couldn’t take her on walks, to the park, events … literally anywhere without her trying to lunge or bark at anything she could see. She especially was not getting along with my husbands golden doodle, Kingston. We moved into a home together and it was a living hell trying to keep them separate. We knew she needed major training and training I could never afford prior. My husband put out the money in hopes of a better quality of life for everyone including Izabelle. I didn’t have much faith prior to sending her off to Cranks for her board and train but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I thought Izabelle was stuck in her ways due to her “older” age to start professional training. Let me tell you- we struck GOLD. Izabelle is now living her BEST life thanks the knowledge and expertise of Jen and Gene at Cranks custom canines. She can go on walks, go to parks, hang out with family and friends… If my 2 1/2 year old, extremely reactive and aggressive pup can get the help she needed- trust me yours can too and don’t hesitate to put your trust in Gene and Jen. Wonderful, kind people with hearts of gold for dogs in need of professional training. They are wonderful communicators and set personalized goals for your pup in need. I recommend them 100X’s over!
