Program details
This four class package Program teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners. The 10-step CGC test is a non-competitive test for all dogs, including purebreds and mixed breeds. It is a prerequisite for many therapy dog groups and some homeowner’s insurance companies and apartment complexes over discounts on pet rent if you have this certification. This class includes a free test and certification through the American Kennel Club!

This four class package provides an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. In classes aimed at earning the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy distinction, you’ll be able to get information on all of your puppy-raising questions including house training, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called. Program details
This is a 2-week board and train program designed to help dogs that have trouble with obedience, impulse control, and reactivity. We use training sessions, activity logs, as well as fitness and sleep trackers to make sure they are well rested and well exercised! By the end of two weeks, you will go home with a well-behaved dog, a training log of their improvements, and a plan for their future! In this program we work on the following: loose leash walking, sit, down, recall, impulse control, jumping, counter-surfing, mouthing, nipping, and more!
This is a 3-week board and train program designed to help dogs that have trouble with aggression, social issues, and reactivity. Similar to our 2-week program, your dog will have daily training sessions, activity logs, as well as fitness and sleep trackers in order to monitor progress and make sure they are well rested and well exercised! The main difference for our 3-week program is that it gives us an extra week to help get to the root of the issues with aggression and social disorders. This time allows the dog to get comfortable in its new environment so that we can identify what is causing the unwanted behaviors. In this program we work on the following: aggression, food and/or resource guarding, separation anxiety, severe fear issues, reactivity on-leash, and everything else listed in our 14-day program!

- AKC Community Canine
Program details
This four class package is the next step for your dog after AKC Urban Canine. To earn the CGCA title, the dog must be registered or listed with AKC and have a Canine Good Citizen title on record. In AKC Community Canine, dogs can earn the CGCA (Advanced CGC) title. The goal of AKC Community Canine is to test the dog’s skills in a natural setting. For example, rather than the dog being tested in a ring, in AKC Community Canine, the “walks through a crowd” test item will involve the dog walking through a real crowd at a dog show, on a busy sidewalk, at a training club or in a local park. This class includes a free test and certification through the American Kennel Club!

We had an amazing and stress free experience with our two pups at the Crafty Canine Club and highly recommend to any dog owner. The owner, Don Cherry answered every question we had and made the whole process simple and straightforward. After our initial consultation we left feeling confident that our pups were in great hands in a clean, safe environment. During their stay, we received numerous photo and video updates that made us feel reassured that they were doing well. Also, Don is a great photographer and we now have great new pics of our pups! Once again we highly recommend the Crafty Canine Club!

Crafty Canine, Don is AMAZING!! I have brought my dogs to multiple places for boarding and have never felt good about leaving them there or have had a good outcome when leaving them, but this past weekend I left my boys with Don and I couldn’t be happier with it! Don is beyond loving and caring for them, he takes pride in his business and it truly shows! He sends pictures and videos to you as they stay there and I could see how happy my boys were with him! I’ve never seen my dogs so happy to be at a boarding place! The best part is that it doesn’t feel like a boarding place, he has two very large outdoor areas for them to play and a great sleeping space for them! I will never leave my dogs with anyone other than Don again! Crafty Canine is the BEST! :)

I met Don (owner of the Crafty Canine Club) one night when I walked over to his place. I was attempting to meet him and learn more about his training programs, but like I said it was late and he wasn’t home. As Harley (my dog) and I walked home, a Jeep pulled up alongside us. Don had tracked us down so he could introduce himself (how about that for some customer service!). Apparently he was headed for the movies, but when he heard that somebody had stopped by he interrupted his plans to come meet us. Since that first meeting, Don has done nothing but show focused dedication to his craft: training and loving dogs. At his recommendation, we elected to have Harley stay for a free 2 day boarding program where he gets a chance to evaluate the dog and develop a training plan for them. After that two day stint, Harley came back a better listener, A better leash walker, and more responsive when called. Needless to say we will be using Crafty Canine Club for all of our boarding and training needs. I’m excited to say that I trust Don completely with my dog as he has loads of empathy and compassion for the dogs he owns and the dogs he trains/boards!
Don at Crafty Canine Club is FANTASTIC. We get as many updates as needed and it's very obvious how much they care about the dogs. We love Crafty!
