Cowboy K9 Academy

I cannot recommend Cowboy K9 enough! They were fantastic with our boy, Brisket! He went in with a lot of behavior issues, and the team was very communicative with us about the process and very upfront about what we could expect after his training. He came out of there a much better-behaved boy, but still had his fun and happy personality. They were invaluable in giving us tips and advice on helping Brisket adjust to changes in our home and lifestyle. I am so glad we chose to bring him to Cowboy K9. Thank you for everything you did for Brisket and for our family!

When I first spoke to Armaan over the phone, I was apprehensive about sending my dog away. After talking to him, I was confident that this is what she needed, not only to learn to be less reactive, but so that I could be a better pet owner. The Cowboy K9 crew took great care of her the entire time, and kept me updated frequently on what they were doing in training. It was amazing seeing the transformation from my timid and reactive pup to a lively, energetic one that not only frolicked in the woods, but knew how to come back when called. One of my biggest worries was the use of the ecollar, but after some personal research and the reassurance from the team, I was on board with it. The graduation process was in depth and provided me with all the information I needed to be confident in providing my dog consistency, even after the formaltraining program. Thank you to the entire Cowboy K9 team for training my pup to be well mannered and eager to learn!!

Cowboy K9 was literally a lifesaver for us. Our dog, a breed with a sweet disposition but a bad reputation, had some anxiety induced dog-aggression issues. Of the three board and train facilites in the Georgetown area we called, Armaan was the only one who didn’t tell us to euthanize our sweet pup outright. None of the others would even meet and evaluate her before passing judgment. The Cowboy K9 crew truly love dogs and take their mission seriously and it shows in everything they do. Scheduling was super easy and they took excellent care of her. While it was difficult for us to be apart from her for over a month they communicated her progress and her training really effectively, providing us with videos of our girl in action and explaining what they were doing with her all along the way. Her journey of learning was also ours, albeit from a distance. They even went so far as to send us us some adorable photos of our girl grinning away. Her graduation included hands on guided practice with the dog, the tools used in training which were also provided to us to take home, and demonstrations of what we can now expect from her. We took her home fully confident in our dog and in our ability to manage and lead her. She’s doing great so far but even so, Cowboy K9 guaranteed the results with lifetime access to refresher training if needed. Of particular note, Ayesha is a real gem. She answered all of our questions and concerns promptly and throughly throughout the training period. All of the trainers there seem really caring and supportive of the dog’s journey and of our own but Ayesha really went to extra mile for us with her communication for which we’re eternally grateful. I could not recommend Cowboy K9 more highly. If I could give them a 10,000 star review I would still not quite meet the value and results in symbols.
