Cover K9 Training

Cover K9 is the place a great place to bring your Furkid for which ever training they may need. So far Grizz(w/ Tiago)has only attended two training sessions and looking forward to continue. it has been amazing, all the trainers are very welcoming and highly trained and they give you the confidence to be around. I was referred to Cover K9 by a Union County Sheriffs officer K9 handler.. I’m so glad I found them. I have a Rotti that is about to turn a year old and he started getting reactive to people on walks which I stopped taking him out because I didn’t want him to bite anyone.. I started working with Gideon and I’m so happy I did. Gideon is very knowledgeable and has a unique style. Three sessions in and I see a huge difference in my boy Gunner.. he’s much more confidant and isn’t nervous outside. The thing with training is if you do it you must practice what your taught to see a difference.. I’m glad I invested in my guy and will continue training here.. highly recommend!

I’ve been working with Cover K9 for about 5 months now, and I can confidently say they’ve completely transformed my relationship with my dog, Bruno. I initially found them during one of the most challenging moments in my journey as a first-time dog owner. After an incident with Bruno, my previous trainer told me there was nothing more they could do to help. I was devastated, feeling like I had failed my dog. While searching for a new trainer, I came across Cover K9 and decided to fill out their online form. That same day, Brooke called me, and from the very start, she made me feel heard, understood, and hopeful. Unlike others I had spoken to, Brooke listened to my concerns without judgment and assured me they had the perfect team to help. She recommended Gideon for an in-home session, and I was immediately impressed by the level of personalization. Having a trainer come to my home allowed us to focus entirely on Bruno and his specific needs. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working not only with Gideon but also with Justin and Claudia. Each trainer brought unique insights and methods that have been instrumental in Bruno’s progress. The variety of approaches helped me understand my dog better and improve my handling skills. Gideon continues to work with us weekly, and I’m amazed at the progress Bruno has made. Bruno has also started attending daycare at Cover K9, which has been a game-changer for me as someone with a demanding work schedule. Brooke has been an incredible support in managing our appointments, always finding a way to fit us into the schedule no matter how busy things get. Today, Bruno is a completely different dog. He’s more confident, better behaved, and happier than ever. While we still have more to accomplish in training, I’m so grateful for the Cover K9 team and the family-like support they’ve given me and my dog. If you’re considering dog training, I cannot recommend Cover K9 enough. Their expertise, care, and commitment to their clients are unmatched.
