Courtney Bray Dog Whisperer

I had never owned a dog in my life when I got a mastiff puppy and needed help fast. Courtney got us all sorted in no time with everything from basic walking manners to more sophisticated behaviors. Our second mastiff turned out to be more "spirited." Courtney was right there to help me build my confidence and help my dog relax. She understands breeds and reads humans equally well. Guests at our house frequently remark on our dogs' great manners. I've got Courtney to thank for showing me how!

I emailed Courtney to get help with our 5 month old golden being a little too aggressive with our 3 year old . She got back to me right away and we scheduled a zoom meeting the next day and an in person meeting 2 days after that. All I can say is the woman is amazing!! Such great energy and she really knows her stuff. It’s only been a few days since our training session and I’m already seeing a dramatic difference in our pup. My boyfriend and I recently got an 11 week old puppy that was proving to be very challenging to handle. I found Courtney after looking at reviews and it was the best thing. Bonnie (our puppy) has improved SO much after our meeting with Courtney. She guides you through how to deal with each issue you are having with your pup. So much information that I never knew about despite having had other dogs in the past. She brought this huge bag of toys and training tools that we got to try with our pup. We love her and can’t wait to do more training with her!

Courtney has incredible insights about dogs and is able to explain the "why" behind training techniques as well as what to do, which helps me remember and be consistent with training. Her advice was invaluable when I adopted my dog, and she helped get us off on the right foot (and paw). Fun, easy-going, and patient, she's great with both pets and their humans. Would give her more than 5 stars if I could!

Courtney helped transform our lives with our rescue dog. Our dog is generally loving and obedient but highly reactive to wildlife and some dogs. Because she would go from calm to super reactive in an instant it was highly stressful to go for walks or to let her out in the yard since she could also easily leapt over our 7 foot fence to chase after them. Courtney took her into "boot camp" at her place for 6 weeks to train her. And then trained us. Each day is better than the next as we all gain confidence in the process knowing that our dog will respond to our commands so everyone is happier, including her.
