Courteous K9

We took Foundations 1 and the puppy class with our two German Shepherds. The puppy class is very fun, and both classes are very useful. The training is geared towards producing a well mannered dog who can be calm in public and at home. This review is a bit long but I feel if you want to spend money training your dog, you need to know what you're getting. The instructors believe in a balanced system of positive reinforcement and light corrections. They let you use your own training tools and they are familiar with the pros/cons of many training tools. They understand that different dogs have different personalities. I mean they really, really understand dogs. I never felt like they were talking down at us - there was no pressure of that sort. Finally, the training rooms are spacious and clean. The facility is just very nice for its purposes. Read what's available on their website, as there's much more than basic training. We called them with questions and they were very helpful. I am eager to start Foundations 2 with both dogs, in August, and plan on doing Agility as well! Maybe even nosework.
