I’ve been training and fine tuning skills and behavior chains for my pups with Karen at Couteous Canine for over 7 yrs- she is candid, consistent and has a breadth of animal behavior knowledge that is fantastic. I’m a k9 trainer myself and have Search and Rescue k9 partners. As a degreed and certified Animal Behaviorist, Karen sees and gets to the root cause of behavior issues and works with the dog and owner to resolve it. It’s not always what an owner wants to hear. But if they embrace the solution, the results are outstanding!
All the trainers at Courteous Canine are true professionals that know their stuff. They assisted us in overcoming behavioral issues and working with our dogs to achieve their AKC Canine Good Citizen and Community certificates. The class sizes were smaller and offered one to one attention. Our dogs looked forward to their classes and had fun.
