FirstBarkStace and Ken are great with our dogs. It is obvious that our dogs love going there as they both get very excited when I turn down road to the dog resort. I can hardly contain them when we get to the gate. I can't say enough good about Country Road Canines.

This session is ideal for quick tune-ups, confidence boosts, or targeted work on specific skills. We may focus on approach, timing, toy delivery, confidence-building, jump mechanics, or refining consistency—adjusting the session to meet your dog exactly where they are. If your dog is new to swimming, new to dock diving, or unsure around water, this is where you start. Our “Beginner Dock Diving Lesson” lessons are designed to build confidence step by step in a safe, structured environment. We focus on helping your dog feel comfortable in the water, learn to use the ramp safely, and gradually progress toward jumping off the dock. Each session is guided by one of our experienced instructors, who will tailor the lesson to your dog’s comfort level and pace. Some dogs jump in right away—others need a slower introduction—and both are completely normal. During these lessons, we work on: - Safe and confident water entry - Swimming and proper ramp exits - Building motivation and comfort around the dock - Introduction to jumping, when the dog is ready Dogs will continue with lessons until they are confidently swimming and exiting the ramp, or—if training for dock diving—confidently jumping off the dock. Program details
Open Dock is shared dock time for dogs and handlers with prior dock diving experience. This is not an instructor-led session and is intended for teams that are already comfortable using the dock independently. Dogs must be confident in the water and able to safely jump off the dock. Handlers are responsible for managing their dog and following all facility rules during their time. Dogs will take turns on the dock in a structured rotation to ensure safe and fair use of the pool. Best for: Experienced dock diving teams looking for practice time. To tell you the truth I am shocked it's taken me so long to give a review of Country Road Canines! We've had our dogs going to Stacy and Ken for years, literally. Stacy has trained several foster dogs and dogs we adopted. She is an amazing trainer who addresses the dog from where they are at and builds from there. Goals set and a foundation achieved, followed by more goals and talking to the owner in a way I've never experienced before-it just finally makes sense! Training (and behavior modification) are just a couple of her skills. We've had a somewhat hard to manage dog for years (she's made leaps and bounds with Stacy's assistance!) but we like her to stay where she feels comfortable and we don't have to worry...so Chelsea has been going to spend some quality time with Stacy and Ken whenever we have to go on a trip. She loves it there. She gets one on one attention-check their FB page and you'll see our Chelsea cuddling with Ken- We don't have a worry in the world with Stacy and Ken. We've been using Country Road Canines for years and have never ever had a complaint or mishap! Next time you need to leave your pet somewhere call Stacy and Ken. They have a beautiful, fenced property and give the family atmosphere that you want your dogs to have when you away. I highly, highly recommend Stacy and Ken. Stacy came recommended as a boarder for our reactive Belgian Malinois, in part, because of her familiarity with the breed. While we had left our pup with one other boarder, it was never an ideal introduction and it lacked the space that a super active dog requires. Stacy shared relatable experiences and did not seem the least bit hindered by the behaviors we described for our Mal. Rather, she set up a meet and greet to see if her facility was a good fit. It WAS! Within a few days of our pup's first overnight boarding, Stacy had our pup playing with dogs! While we always wanted this for our pup, dog intros were to say the least, anxiety provoking for all. Boarding has since parlayed into more reactivity training for our Mal. We are hoping that as our pup develops more self-confidence playing with other pups that we will start to see improvement with Stacy's training. Needless to say, Stacy and Ken are a God send. We know that when we leave our pup with them, she will be treated like Country Road Canine royalty! Thank you Ken and Stacy!

So we have used the fields on the property (Sniffspot) but haven’t used their services. We have a dog that we rescued with some issues and have not taken a vacation in 4 years that we didn’t have our dogs with us because we didn’t trust our dog with anyone. We did a couple meet ups, a practice run had them stay 24hrs and last weekend was the first time leaving them for 5 days. They did amazing! This facility is professional understand the working dog breed and took amazing care of our boys. I can’t rave enough.
