I cannot say enough about Ted and the facility at Cottonwood. Nanook, being the very animated husky, could not love Ted any more...in fact, I get a bit jealous every time she gets dropped off. Huskies have a personality, and that is an understatement, but Ted was able to train her for recall by using positive reinforcement and not dominance. His soft approach, years of experience, and kindness are unmatched.

We’ve had an excellent experience with Cottonwood Ranch & Kennel and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Ted clearly cares about dogs and has a calm, confident way of working with them that puts both the dog and the owner at ease. We take our lab there and he comes home happy, well cared for, and settled exactly what you want when you’re trusting someone with your dog. You can tell Ted has real hands-on experience and isn’t just “going through the motions.” If you want a place where your dog is treated thoughtfully and handled by someone who truly knows what he’s doing, this is it.
