Are you a certified dog trainer?
Yes – I am a certified dog trainer, who received a Certificate in Canine Studies (CCS) through the Northwest School of Canine Studies (NWSCS) — the only state certified school on the West Coast. I also studied under a local canine behavior specialist for a year after graduating, and I continue to attend seminars and classes to ensure I remain up to date on all the latest research.
I first began training dogs professionally in 2009, so 16 years as of February 2025. It's my passion and I really enjoy helping people along their dog training journey.
I would describe myself as a relational trainer, who employs a holistic and collaborative approach to help owners devise an approach that works best for them. No two dogs, owners, or situations are identical, so I treat every client and their dog as a unique situation.
My rates vary depending on the type of training you're looking for and the number of sessions you select. Please see the pricing page to see specific rate information.
I provide private, in-home dog training and walk and trains in the Greater Seattle area, Edmonds area, Mercer Island, and Shoreline. We have been using Cosmic since our dog was 2 months old which was 2 years ago. They are by far the best and we've used a few of their services - walking, boarding and training. Our dog is better behaved and well taken care of in their hands. While we love our friends and neighbors, we prefer to board our dog with Cosmic. We also LOVE the group walks our fur baby goes on. She gets her exercise and makes so many pup friends!! How do I know? I check in on Cosmic's Instagram, which they update all the time :). Thank you guys for being the best!!

Brea is great! We definitely recommend -- our dog did the group walks and seemed to have a great time. I thoroughly enjoyed watching her videos of them wrestling on her Instagram account.

Brea took care of our two unsocialized cats whilst we were on vacation for a week. Within a few days she had them comfortable enough to accept treats!
We received plenty of communication, even with pictures, so we had no reason to worry about our furry family.
Will definitely hire Cosmic Home & Pet again for future trips out of town!

My husband and I had never used a cat sitting service before and this was our first trip together after we got married. Brea was very patient with us and put our anxiety to rest by providing constant, thorough checkins and darling pictures of our cats. We will definitely be using her services the next time we decide to go out of town!

Having two elderly, opinionated, adorably annoying rescues that have lived in many urban settings with me, I can say easily that I’ve had my fair share of dog walkers and sitters over the years. Jaimie, Brea and Ira are a breath of fresh air. Knowing their visits will be thorough and timely is a given but Jaimie ALWAYS knows my schedule (even better than me at times), sends photos, has learned their quirks and more subtle language, is very communicative, keeps them safe, let’s me know if she sees even the smallest change in their mood or physical condition. Love is earned with old dogs and EVERY photo Jaimie sends me shows my ‘heart on eight legs’ looking at her through her lens with utter love and affection. We are blessed to not only have our dogwalker visit every day for all the contracted time-but also my furry misters get a friend to visit them without fail.
