Are you a certified dog trainer?
Yes – I am a certified dog trainer, who received a Certificate in Canine Studies (CCS) through the Northwest School of Canine Studies (NWSCS) — the only state certified school on the West Coast. I also studied under a local canine behavior specialist for a year after graduating, and I continue to attend seminars and classes to ensure I remain up to date on all the latest research.

I first began training dogs professionally in 2009, so 16 years as of February 2025. It's my passion and I really enjoy helping people along their dog training journey.

I would describe myself as a relational trainer, who employs a holistic and collaborative approach to help owners devise an approach that works best for them. No two dogs, owners, or situations are identical, so I treat every client and their dog as a unique situation.

Brea has been taking care of our cat for about 3 years now. He's very picky about everything, especially food and people. Whenever we go on vacation, he would normally lose weight and seem to be sad (on cam). But now, he's maintained his weight and is pretty chipper when we get back! I also enjoy the collages she sends to keep us posted about how he's doing. With the whole covid thing, we're unable to go on vacation and have had to cancel our cat sitting services, so please support this awesome small business!
Cosmic Home and Pet is a stellar dog walking and pet care service! Brea is professional, kind and reliable. Communication is always clear. When last minute changes come up Brea is attentive and accommodating. My dog Maeve has been walking with Brea and her canine crew for 2+ years and seems very happy with her daily walks.

When I first met Brea, I had a cat who hated people. This particular cat walked right up to Brea, rubbed Brea's leg, and allowed Brea to pet her. That was many years ago. I currently have a cat that requires additional attention and Brea, Jaime, and their people are very nurturing, caring, and loving to my cat. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with my cats. Cosmic Home & Pets really do treat the pets they take care of as their own - with love, caring, and tenderness. Plus, I think Brea is a whisperer!
