Cosmic Dog Training

I started looking for a dog trainer after my elder service angel, Sparta, lost both her eyes to glaucoma. Our 1 1/2 year old, Cedar, who was raised with her didn't understand or realize that her older sister was now blind and couldn't play in the same ways as before. I was doing my best, but had lost my patience on more than one occasion when Cedar unintentionally hurt Sparta by plowing into her. After a beautiful conversation with Kathleen, I knew she was going to be the perfect fit for our family's situation. The goal was to support each of our pups in living harmoniously together again and to support our puppy with her reactivity and overstimulation. The scent work immediately improved Sparta's confidence, and the games encouraged Cedar to remain focused on us through play. They both absolutely love when Kathleen comes to see them, and we have learned so much from her. Before my companion left with Cedar for the summer to California, I was on a walk with Cedar and Sparta. Before we got home, Sparta stopped and looked at me. She was telling me she wanted to play...with Cedar. They danced, wrestled, and chased each other just like they used to before Sparta went blind. From afar, you would have never known Sparta has no eyes. I cried so many tears of gratitude and relief. I thanked God for the miracle, and Kathleen for helping us with the tools we needed to build Sparta's confidence and Cedar's impulse control. They can now be the playful siblings they were before our lives took a huge turn. Thank you, Kathleen. Wonderful, effective, and fun way to build life skills for your doggie companion. Super success story. Took our 2.5y.o. formerly skittish and anxious pup camping over Memorial Day and he did great! We are not new dog owners and have used different training techniques in the past all with variable outcomes and not consistent growth. Kathleen creates an environment and trains in a way that is easy and fun to recreate at home.
