Cosmic Canine

I absolutely do not regret signing my puppy, Finn, up for the four-week Puppy Day School at Cosmic Canine—it was one of the best decisions I've made! I'm writing this review about a month and a half after Finn graduated, and it's been so rewarding to see the positive habits he picked up in day school carry over into our daily life at home. The program really helped with his responsiveness to commands and taught him how to play more gently with our senior dog, thanks to the socialization he got with other pups in the program. My one-on-one sessions were with Zak, and he was fantastic—he helped me set realistic expectations and tailored the training to suit Finn's needs. I also learned so much from him about how dogs think, which has made training at home much more effective and enjoyable. Other trainers, like Abi and Brad, were also great with Finn, and the front desk staff—especially Charles—made the entire experience smooth and welcoming. I can't recommend Cosmic Canine enough for anyone looking for a thoughtful, professional training program that truly puts your dog’s well-being and growth first!

After five months of adopting my 7-year-old dog Beemo, I found him more reactive on his leash, making every walk completely stressful for both of us. I was a first time dog owner, and decided to seek more professional help. I’m so happy that Cosmic Canine was able to help with the training process. After talking to Jessie on the phone and consulting with Brad, I signed up for the 4-week day training program. I was in awe of how much more Beemo learned after just one day of training- he was listening much better and did not speed to his food bowl. After 2 weeks, he seemed to relax way more at home instead of consistently pacing. After 4 weeks, we enjoyed our walks so much more. Zak patiently and amazingly guided me through the training session re-cap through the 4 weeks, and taught me so much more about Beemo’s personality and abilities. We loved this place so much that Beemo is now here on occasional daycare, and I love that he can retain his etiquettes and how excited he gets to play with Zak, Abi, Charles, and all the staff. We naturally have some up-and-down days, but this place provided a solid training foundation for us to keep practicing Beemo’s skills/manners, making everyday together a more peaceful, playful day.
