Cosmic Canine

Cosmic Canine is wonderful for my dogs! Two of my dogs went through board and train and it was absolutely incredible. One went through as a puppy to learn the basics and the other went through to help with his anxiety. Both dogs continue visit for daycare and/or boarding. The structured daycare really helps wear them out both mentally and physically. I can’t say enough kind things about the staff they truly care for my dogs like they’re their own. It gives me such a sense of comfort when I leave them whether it’s just daycare or boarding. I highly recommend the team at Cosmic Canine!

My golden retriever pup (5 months), Jake, just came home yesterday from the 2-week Puppy Basics Board and Train. It is a MUST for all puppies!! Let me explain why: I have been doing my best to train him on my own since 8 was old, but with life’s various responsibilities (read: work and children) even my best days of training him were inconsistent and fell short of his potential. I began feeling like I was failing my child because I aim for him to be their skilled service dog. Enter Cosmic Canine!!! While it was very hard to give him up for two weeks, I am so glad that I did. His trainer, Zak, is a magician! He sent me videos every day that I watched over and over, so proud of my good boy, trusting the process. The staff really helped calm my anxiety about the separation each time I called to check if he missed me. He was having a great time at school and loved by all. Morning of Day One back at home: Using the techniques Zak helped me practice when I picked him up yesterday, Jake and I had the best morning! While I went about my morning routine, I used his new commands (Down, Place, and Settle). He is a whole new dog!! Best decision I ever made! He knows what to do, and all I have to do is remind him that he knows what to do, then he does it. Any time I mess up a command, I tell myself “It’s okay, I’m gonna get this!” If you want to have a peaceful relationship with your dog, giving him the tools he needs to know how he can be a good companion is the best thing you can do.
