Cornerstone Dog Training

We highly recommend Cornerstone. We got a puppy in Sept 2025 and decided it was so much fun that we got another puppy four months later! Cornerstone was critical to us getting through the challenge. We did the puppy and advanced classes. We are so pleased. Three takeaways to share: We interacted with several of the trainers but Madie was our primary trainer. She is awesome! She is not a lady that trains dogs. She is a dog trainer! We also watched all the on-line Cornerstone videos. At the end of each training topic are 4-6 short videos where they show you different dogs reacting very differently to the training challenge. We could see our dogs behavior in these short videos and it helped us work together and address training issues. Lastly, we like going to the monthly group activities open to all Cornerstone graduates. It's nice to be with other well-behaved and CALM dogs.

We've had Dexter back for a few days since returning from his 3 week board and train at 8 months old. He is doing so well and we definitely notice it. Dexter had his puppy training there as well when he was 12 weeks old. This was our 2nd trip to Salt Lake City with Cornerstone as we are in Washington. Madison was great and helped us work toward our long term goals with our Dexter. I would strongly recommend them for any training! I was very pleased.

After adopting our 2 yr old Labradoodle, we realized she was almost too much to handle. She was reactive to other dogs and was so hard to walk because she would pull us down the street. We found ourselves walking late at night to avoid any altercations. A friend recommended Cornerstone dog training, and after just a few weeks, our life with Nala was so much better! We were given the tools and help to successfully take our dog out in public and walk her in a heal. We can take her on hikes, off leash, with peace of mind that she will have good recall and obey the first time. It has taken work and effort on our part, but we are beyond pleased with this program and appreciated the tips and follow up our trainer, Alisia gave. I would recommend this program to dog owners that want more peace, trust and enjoyment with their dog.
