Core K9 Training

These guys have been a lifesaver for me and my now17 month old German Shepard. I did a board and train (4week?) and she went from a possible problem child to a very well mannered and loving companion-not to say that there is no room for improvement!-but Im extremely pleased with her. The staff are very experienced and always helpful when you have any concerns or needs. I’ve also used them for boarding, I have no worries when she is with them, they are on top of any situations that arise which indicates to me that each pet in their care is top priority. I now have her in the structured daycare. To say that she is extremely excited to go each week and even more excited when she gets there speaks volumes about the love she feels for these guys. I’d highly recommend them for any training or boarding needs that you have. They are very knowledgeable, experienced and truly care for each and every client.

Core K9 was absolutely incredible with my dog, Nova. She stayed with them for about four weeks when I was in the process of moving, and the progress she made was more than I could’ve hoped for. They worked on her reactivity, leash walking, off-leash recall, basic obedience, and even her demand barking, and she came home a noticeably more confident, well-mannered, and happy dog. I am now able to confidently walk and be with Nova in public without feeling like she is out of control. Nova absolutely adored Clayton and Amber. She genuinely looked forward to seeing them, which made the whole experience even better. They were also extremely flexible with my schedule and understanding about the fact that I live a few hours away. I always felt completely safe and comfortable having Nova in their care. Overall, Core K9 provided an amazing experience for both me and my dog. I’m so grateful for the time, patience, and care they put into her training. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for dedicated, trustworthy trainers who truly care about the dogs they work with. If I ever need a tune up or boarding in the future, Clayton and Amber will be the first ones I call!

HIGHLY Recommend!! If you are looking for THE BEST Trainer, look no further than Core K9 Training! Our two girls were loving and playful with each, and then after an early spay and infection our 8mth old Rottweiler acted out towards our 6yr old pocket Pitmix. We had to completely separate them. It was very stressful and chaotic in our home. We knew we needed the right trainer for our situation and it was very important to find someone that was familiar with large breeds, high energy dominance, for both a puppy and older dog sibling rivalry. We spoke with 8 different places and then we were recommended to Core K9. There was no comparison after talking with Amber. Her and the staff at Core K9 are top notch and just on a whole different level! It was such an important issue to our family that we drove 4hrs twice a week for training and it was 100% worth it! Amber at Core K9 did a phenomenal job!! She really paid attention to what each dog needed, their personality and tailored a training plan for our situation!! We love her, but more importantly both of the dogs love her too and get excited when we mention her name! After just a few days we received a picture and video of our Rottweiler happily playing with other dogs and we were shocked!! And after only a few walks, our Pitmix was transformed where my hand used to hurt so bad from her pulling the lease, to now walking calmly beside me barely needing to even hold the leash at all! They’ve gone from being totally separated, problems with aggression, resource guarding, fear, and anxiety to completely different dogs and back together playing!! We honestly can’t say enough amazing things about our experience with Amber and the Core K9 Team and would Highly Recommend them to anyone!! We are SO glad we entrusted our girls with them! 🐾❤️
