Core K9 Training

Core K9 has transformed our wild Golden Retriever puppy into the dog (still a puppy) we hoped he could be. We did the board and train program and it made a huge difference. Our boy Rossi is much more manageable, obedient, and regulated. We enjoy him more, and we believe he is enjoying life more! Rossi loves the staff at Core K9. Truly impressed by the transformation in our dog after he completed the board and train program with Amber and Clayton. Our dog (around 5 years old) had become aggressive and reactive making it difficult for anyone to come to our home. They not only helped him but helped us. Within a week we could see the positive changes as he relaxed and focused on each command we gave him. Each week we were taught new techniques and given tools to help him manage his fears and anxiety. By the end of his training we had a much more balanced dog and the skills to continue working with him at home. Amber and Clayton are highly skilled, experienced trainers who got us the results we never thought possible. I highly recommend CoreK9!

Man where do I begin?! I called Amber for a consultation and told her about my dog Rafa. He’s a Full blooded German Shepherd. I got him at 18 months old and he had no obedience whatsoever. He would nip and bite at me and my wife. I honestly thought we were gonna have to get rid of him. But when Amber came over to my house she told me she could help with his “problems”. We did a 6 week obedience training and he is a completely different dog. You would not even believe me if I told you in person that he used to bite and nip at people. Amber and Clayton are amazing!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Jack started out with board and train but we quickly realized that was not going to be the best way to train him. We moved forward with private lessons each week where we would learn and practice various skills Jack needed help with. Jack and I would put the new skills into practice each day and it was magic. Amber and Clayton are patient and explained things with clarity. I appreciated their honesty and help. It’s been about a year now and Jack shines , my sister who came back to visit was surprised that he wasn’t jumping on her like last time and when he gets too excited we put him in place till he is relaxed and it really works. Sometimes I forget he’s in place because he stays. I enjoy Jack so much more now that he listens. Thank you Amber for all your help.
