Core K9 Academy

I am beyond happy as my wildest dreams have come true. I have a 100 lb. livestock guardian dog and live on 7 acres surrounded by parkland with hunting and 2 heavily used roads. I wanted so much to be able to have my dog off-leash to walk around and to and from the barn. Corey taught us many things but the most important was recall and keeping her at a heal. It happened today! I had stuff in my hand and decided to not put her leash on. We were doing great and as we got closer to the barn, I spotted at least a dozen deer. I stayed calm and kept walking. She stayed at my side without hesitation. She looked at the deer and stayed with me! All the way back to the house was even better. Corey was wonderful with my puppy. He made it fun for her and she loves seeing him now for boarding as well. Corey was the best investment I have ever made in a dog. Thank you. Joy Latzko

We just completed Corey's hybrid training package and are EXTREMELY HAPPY! with the results. During our five 1-in-1 training sessions and a 2 week board and train, we and our energetic 14 month old goldendoodle, Wally, have learned the training and dog-life skills that will ensure our best life together. Corey's patience and practical training showed us how to handle Wally's bad behavior and help Wally learn acceptable behavior that will allow his personality to shine. Shout out to the Core K9 film and camera crew! We especially enjoyed watching Wally's training accomplishments on Instagram while we were away. We had an awful experience with this trainer/dog boarding service Core K9 Solutions, Corey Edwards. I think it is important for all of you, who love your pets, to know what we went through. We agreed to drop our dog off before 9 am this past Saturday Oct 8th, 2022 and we were at his door as agreed at 8:45 AM. He took several minutes to open his door and as soon as he came out, he talked to us with an attitude and in a hostile way. He never asked for an exact drop off time; however he lectured us on how his scheduling worked, he then realized at that moment that he had not asked for an specific time but he didn’t even apologized, instead he continued his rude monologue about his scheduling. At that moment we didn’t feel comfortable leaving our dog under his care. We had previously paid him a lot of money for a training program for which we are unsure it was worth it. He definitely forgot or didn't realize we were there bringing him business. We weren't there for charity.  I strongly believe everyone must be treated with respect, and Corey Edwards did not treat us in such way.  Even though he still owes us a follow up training session, we are certain we will not let him be near our beloved dog and we are also very sure not to do business with him again nor recommend his services. It really gives me the chills to imagine how he may treat our dogs when we are not around after seeing how he treated us.
