We had friends who worked with Copilot Academy to train their dog and highly recommended them when we got our dog. Working with Rebbeckah was the best decision we made. She helped train us along with training our dog and that has made the difference. She is professional and knowledgeable in her craft. We did the puppy training and since our lessons our dog has made great progress with self control and listening. Also, she has boarded our dog when we have gone on vacaction. This has made leaving him a little easier knowing he is with Rebbeckah responsible and knowledgeable care. He is always sad to leave her when come back! Plus, getting daily updates and pictures always helps! We highly recommend Copiolt Academy!

My GSD/Husky mix, Temari, had killed two chickens and a bunny, but now she has so much more self control and really wants to please. I have my good friend Rebbeckah to thank for teaching me how to control Temari's prey drive and how to handle her crazy adolescence. I have had dogs my whole life and Rebbeckah really helped to fill in the gaps I was missing when trying to train my own dog. The best part is I can use the techniques I learned on my other two dogs, so really I paid for one and got two free. I love the group classes as they challenge myself and my dog outside of our normal training routine. Rebbeckah really tries to work with your situation. It's not just teaching them basic sit, down, and heel. She came to our house and worked with our chickens to ensure we knew what to do to continue Temari's progress after the 6 week course. We wanted to have our Great Dane puppy receive some training before she got too big to handle. I researched dog trainers in our area and Co-Pilot Academy came very highly recommended. Now I see why. Rebbeckah is an amazing trainer, not only did my pup learn a lot, but I did as well. We have had private lessons, some agility training and a few days of board and train. We are very satisfied and will continue to utilize them for additional training.

If you are wanting a fully function legal service dog- do not sign up for this program. Their program is for therapy service dogs!! My dog was never treated equal in group class and it showed in his behavior. When I asked for advance private classes i was turned away & told he can just pass the test. Setting my dog up for failure. Endlessly I had to defend that my dog could do the most simple of task like laundry, taking trash & recycling to the proper cans, etc. around the home. Things a service dog should be able to do. I was asking for advanced training outside the home, (trip to Lowes, told no, waste of my money, next day photo of another dog posted on FB at Lowes) was refused all but Cetification classes before his test! Several times had to defend myself in that i was working with my dog at home! His excitement was taking as misbehavior! Aggressive dogs were always put near him, he did like it for my safety and trainer continued to do it, saying it was his behavior not him doing his job, protecting my wellbeing! Other dogs would get praise from trainer when doing something good, mine did not in group class. I feel the bond between us that makes him perfect for my illness was downgraded & passed off as needy bad behavior. As well as the need for me to have an SD dog even though I have 3 doc who agree! After contacting a program near Austin and told them our situation they agreed that they were holding my dog back and only wanting to certify him as a therapy dog by legal guidelines!!! I have never been so mad, i spent 2 years trying to find a trainer who would NOT shock collar my dog and by the end she wanted to do that! I also feel like I wasted almost 1000 for basic training when i was told id have advanced classes & a certified dog when i was done! Also the trainer would laugh and say that me correcting my dog making him apologize for doing wrong- was not working - & he doesnt understand! Yes he does! He was the only dog there that knew to pick up toys and put them away!
