Control Is Key Dog Training

I never realized how much dog obedience training was as much for me as it was for my puppy, Molly! Matt was so very patient with the both of us and included videos of our training together to help me reinforce what both of us had been taught. After eight weekly sessions I also enrolled Molly in a one week board and train with Ashley. Ashley worked with Molly on manners such as Learning not to jump on people, Dropping and leaving her ball during playtime, heeling And sitting and staying while I walked a good distance away before commanding her to come to me. Definitely the best investment I made for both me and Molly. I am enjoying her so much more as a result of the fantastic training we got from Matt and Ashley. I highly recommend Control is Key for both you and your pup. ❤️

We were having some behavior problems with our Lab, and it was scaring our 7-year-old daughter, because he would occasionally nip at her. It made me not trust the dog, and something had to be done. Matthew assessed the situation and told us he didn't think the dog was aggressive, but was treating our daughter as if she were on his level, like a puppy. We needed to establish her as an authority. He suggested that we enroll in obedience training. After 8 sessions of working with Matthew and his trainers, we've seen huge progress. The dog has not nipped at our daughter at all, and she has learned to become his boss. We couldn't have done it without this focused training. I am amazed at how much and how quickly a dog can learn, when you know how to train them.There is more work to be done to perfect the dog's obedience, but now we are equipped with the knowledge and skills to continue on our own. Matthew was great to work with, and went above and beyond to make our daughter feel cared for. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing experience with Matt and his 3-week puppy board and train program! Throughout the entire process, Matt kept us constantly updated with texts and videos of our puppy’s progress, which made us feel so confident in her safety and care. After the training, we had a personalized session where Matt taught us all the commands our puppy had learned. We also have a second refresher session coming up, which we are really looking forward to. Matt’s expertise and dedication exceeded our expectations, and we definitely see ourselves returning for our future puppies and more advanced training!
