Connor Canine Training

If you are looking for training for your pups, Connor Canine Training is where you want to go. Boarding our two mini schnauzers, Milo and Ocean, for training was the best decision we made. Not only is Albert a fantastic dog trainer, but both he and his family make the dogs feel safe and secure and shower them with lots of love. He also takes the time to make sure the owners are well trained themselves and feel comfortable so all the hard work that has been done carries over at home and the outside world. The change in Milo and Ocean in just 4 weeks have been absolutely incredible.

So to give everyone an idea, my wife and I rescued Maverick. He was about a year old and we eventually learned he was bought as a puppy and shipped from Montana to Miami to a local puppy store. He stayed there for a while. We know this because we looked up the store and we noticed they put Mav on sale towards the end. He was finally bought but a week later they tried to return him but the store said they didn’t accept returns and he was then dropped off at our Vets office. Knowing we are avid dog lovers the vets office called us and we immediately said yet. Mav was very apprehensive of us from the very beginning. My wife had to lay a mattress and sleep with him until he finally began to trust us. He had a very unique personality, but he was very hyper and loved to rough play with our other dogs which were all older. He would not listen whatsoever and just did whatever he wanted. He began to get aggressive and that’s when we decided to seek a trainer. It was either that or give him away which we didm’t believe in. So we met Albert and immediately knew he was the one. Unlike other people we spoke to, Albert was very honest and managed our expectations. He explained everything to us in a way we understood. Maverick was very shy with him and took a while to open up. When he did Albert was able to get through to him in a way that I would have never thought. Albert kept us abreast of everything that was going on and did a great job with dealing with my wife and keeping her at ease. Albert, staying honest like he did from the beginning, did not hold back on pointing out mistakes that were making as dog owners. Albert opened up his house and allowed us to train with him as well. When Mav finally came back home, he was a different dog. He is obedient and just behaving much better. The investment we made with trusting Albert and his training skills were life changing. Like Albert says it is just a foundation for us to build upon but let me tell you, its quite the foundation. We are so grateful for Albert and his skills. We have quite a bit of dogs and we are in the process of sending another one to him. If you want a solid training program for your pup we will only recommend Albert. He loves dogs and you can tell. He also knows what he is doing and adapts to us, the customer. We couldn’t be happier with Albert and we know you will feel the same. Good Luck!

I had never owned a dog before, but a few months ago, I decided to get one to keep me company and share the love I have inside. So, I decided to get a miniature schnauzer. I didn't realize how much training a dog would require, especially because I have a full-time job and limited time to train. That's when my sister told me about Connor Canine Training. Working with Albert has been such an easy process. I explained to him my dog's bad behavior and how I felt helpless to the point where I would lose my mind. Albert provided me with daily or weekly updates. He sent me pictures and videos of my dog, which helped a lot. Leaving my dog, Holly, with him for a few weeks and coming back to pick her up felt like having a new dog. She was so well-trained and listened to commands.
