Connection dog training

Connection dog training is a wonderful resource for all aspects of dog ownership. Paul (owner) is very knowledgeable of many dog breeds and behaviors. His expertise in positive training methods helps owners create a loving, respectful relationship with their pet. Each time I have reached out to Paul with a question, he responds quickly and thoughtfully with answers that are easy to understand and tips which are easy to implement. More importantly, he is patient with the pet parents (who may need some training). Paul has worked with two of my dogs and I can confidently recommend his services.

Paul is wonderful!!!! Our pup absolutely adores him, and he breaks training strategies down into simple steps/tips that we’re able to easily implement in our daily routine. In just two invaluable sessions, he has helped us to better understand our dogs motives and “currencies” (treats, pets/attention, play, etc) and has given us the ability to be more intuitive our precious puppo’s mind. Our Cashy has never been happier or as well behaved, and we can’t wait to see what else we can accomplish with Paul’s guidance. We would recommend him 100% to anyone looking to help their fury friends be the best boys and girls they can be!!

We have a little dog who was very good at home and knew his commands, but the minute we took him out, he wanted to greet every person and dog he saw and was distracted by his surroundings. Paul’s Good Manners I class helped us really train our dog into listening to his basic commands, no matter the environment. We are now pretty good with loose leash walking, he will actually “leave it” when I tell him to, and he is very good with recall- he’ll even come to us when called at a dog park! Paul is very nice, knowledgeable, and patient. He even took the time to discuss some concerns I had with my dog’s behavior (unrelated to the class). Very reasonably priced and very informative- we highly recommend Paul’s classes!

Having taken the puppy class and private instruction, I can positively state that Paul is an excellent instructor, he enjoys the dogs, and is skilled in sharing his knowledge. Paul provides a safe environment for the pups, practice time for every skill, and communicates individual tips for each family. Not only will you enjoy the experience with your beloved pet, your pet will love the training AND the play time that is a part of each lesson. I highly recommend taking his classes and to continue learning through his private lessons.
