I can’t say enough good things about Confident K9 and its owner/trainer! Hands down, this is the most down-to-earth, professional, and easy-to-work-with dog trainer I’ve ever met—whether online or in person. The training is affordable, compassionate, and incredibly effective. Through these classes, my wild and unruly 3-year-old rescue has transformed into a much more well-mannered, well-behaved member of our family. What I appreciate most is that the training isn’t just for the dog—it’s for both of us. We’ve learned how to better communicate, work together, and become our best selves so we can not only coexist, but truly thrive. Our training has covered so much, from outdoor skills to behavior in public spaces, including taking our dog into dog-friendly stores without worrying about disruptive or inappropriate behavior. The care, knowledge, and dedication here are unmatched. I would absolutely recommend Confident K9 to anyone looking for quality dog training. I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else!

K-9 to the rescue. This great group helped my family enormously. My adult kids had been watching my Big Guy while my wife and I were on vacation. They all work and left Axel (Big Guy) at their house and he had an anxiety attack. He ate the door handle , trim. Wall and ripped up carpet. I called K9 from out of state and they took the stress away by coming up with a solution. Daycare the Big Guy as needed. He was safe the house was safe and my wife and I could enjoy the time away. This place is so beneficial for my Lady. At 9 months old, she is partially through her training at being a service dog. I've trained all my dogs but Lady is very very friendly. She is a over grown social butterfly. She has been very difficult to get to focus only on me, especially outside our home. She just wants to play with everything and everyone. This causes her to drag me all over, which would possibly cause me injury, not to mention the fact that she would never be qualified to be my service dog! I found a post for this place on social media. I got into a free class just to get an idea of the training being offered and to see if Lady would be receptive to it. Within the 1st 10 min, Cass got her into a proper control collar. As a last resort, I had her in a head collar so I could prevent her from dragging me during walks as I was training her. As soon as Cass seen her reaction to everyone in the head collar, she suggested just a slip leash. This didn't help a lot. Lady still pulled. Cass then suggested a pinch collar. I was instructed on proper usage since they've always scared me and within a couple 10 ft laps back and forth, Lady finally seemed to calm. By the end of class, Lady showed tremendous improvement! Cass and other trainers were calm and instructive to all of us puppy parents! I've always been a soft toned trainer with my dogs. I also train in hand signals so I can control them silently in public if needed. The atmosphere was also very calm and soft. I was so happy with the shoet amount of time in the free session. It was 2 hrs long but in 2 hours, Lady was sitting while waiting in line with little to no correction needed to stop her from trying to play with others in line. We are so grateful for those 2 hours. We are signing up for regular training classes and maybe even looking at getting Lady into agility training! I am so impressed with this place! Picture of Lady when we got home from class attached!
