I have a very anxious dog that is almost 4yo. We have tried absolutely everything under the sun for him with multiple trainers and I honestly thought we would just have to live with his anxiety and the bad behaviors that went with it. I contacted Confident Canine, LLC from 8 time zones away and Eileen worked with me to help my dog. We saw a major change in him in just a few weeks. After 2 months, my dog has improved so much that he is doing things I never thought we would be able to do and is starting to enjoy the life we can provide for him. You don’t think that something as simple as sitting outside instead of constantly patrolling would make such a difference but it does. So grateful I found Eileen & Confident Canines. Had a first session with Eileen, she was very patient and understanding with my dogs behaviors. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about doing a consultation with Eileen to do it! She is understanding and empathic but proactive in giving you feedback that is specific to the problem you're trying to address with your dog. She used every minute of our zoom meeting to be informative and helpful and most importantly, she listens to what your concerns are. I have done zoom sessions with her and the quality of the training is just as good as any.

I could not recommend Confident Canines enough! First and foremost, I love Eileen’s approach of positive reinforcement - no shock collars, prong collars, etc. This worked so well with our dog, Elmer (2 years old, 90 pounds). We started working with Eileen in December 2021 and have seen MAJOR improvements in just a couple of sessions (barking and pulling towards people and dogs, constant barking with anyone near or in the home). We went from not able to walking him AT ALL to successfully being able to take him on walks for more than an hour at parks without any issues when before, we could only handle him long enough to go potty and come back inside. Eileen has also provided tips, tricks and products to try and we’ve utilized them all! Elmer is such a happier dog now and we’re so excited to be able to do more outdoorsy things with him! 🐶
