Complex Canine

Complex Canine saved me and my family. I got a Dogo Argentino and training him was a bit overwhelming. I decided I needed to find professional help. I did tons of research and met with multiple trainers in the Los Angeles area. None of them compared to Complex Canine. I could tell from the moment we met that they were the right choice. They’re genuine and their love for dogs and their work made my decision simple. I signed my dog up for a 6 week board and train and the results actually changed my life (also sent him back for a few weeks so they can work with him more while I was out of town). They set the foundation for success in keeping my dog behaved and in line without some of the cruel methods that others wanted to use (since he is such a massive breed). They sent updates on the regular and informed me on what his strengths and weaknesses were. 6 weeks later they brought my boy home a changed man. No more pulling on walks, sitting on command, laying on command, going to his place and staying there until directed otherwise, waiting for me to get home from work to go out and do his “business.” Those are just the basics. They even taught him in my preferred language which isn’t even one they speak. Taking him out in public has become one of my favorite things to do now, something that would have been impossible without Complex’s help. I have two kids at home, a toddler and an infant. I would never have the confidence in my dog to be near them without the proper training they provided. I am truly grateful for their help and would recommend them to anyone and everyone with no hesitation. And my dog loves them as well! Thank You Complex Canine! Our 2 year old lab Paxton spent 6 weeks with Andrew & the Complex Canine team for the Board & Train program. We wanted to address issues with recall, pulling on walks, and just improve our lifestyle overall (and be able to take Pax everywhere!). Though he is a super lovable pup, he was pretty reactive and constantly distracted. Cue: a consult session with Andrew and eventually the 6-week board & train program. From the jump, Andrew’s patience and attention to detail was super apparent. During the program (we missed him a TON) but we got regular updates about his progress and wellness check-ins — lots of peace of mind. As a trainer, he is particular in the absolute best way and helped us understand the importance of clarity when communicating with Pax. We also love how Andrew took the time to understand our schedules and everyday activities, so we could re-integrate realistically and to our expectations. The difference is night and day! We have a certified #brunchboi and can’t wait to make more memories with Paxton, in a much healthier and safer way. Andrew has a genuine concern and care for all the dogs he trains, and we feel very supported/confident as we navigate the next phases.
