Complete K9

I absolutely love and highly recommend this training place! My husband and I recently got our pit bull mix from the human society and knew he needed some basic obedience after having him a few months. We both had no clue where to start with any of it so we took him to complete K9. They had him for two weeks and with this being our first dog we did not know what to expect, I feel like everyone expects their dog to come back PERFECT which is not feasible, they set the foundation for the basic obedience training and from there you have to continue working with your dog. Our dog (louie) came back with so many manners and now we can do simple things with him such as take him to pet-smart without him reacting to other dogs and humans. What people do not understand is when you have a pet YOU have to also set aside time to train them, you cannot expect two weeks of training to teach them everything they need to know. Overall, we HIGHLY recommend complete k9 training. Thank you complete k9 we appreciate you!!

This place is incredible. I have a large mixed breed herding dog with a lot of energy. We went to a basic obedience class with a different trainer when he was about 3 months old. Now he’s a much bigger 11 months old that doesn’t always want to do what he’s told. His problem behaviors started to get a little out of hand and I needed help. I found Complete K9 and made a call. Toney messaged me back right away and after listening to my concerns recommended the “Board and train option”. I dropped off my rowdy Bruno and 2 weeks later picked up a well mannered social Bruno!! I couldn’t believe he was the same dog. He now lays on his bed when my wife and I are cooking or eating dinner. No more tripping over a countertop surfer. When we go on a walk he stays right beside me and even sits without a command when I stop. But the thing that made me most happy is how Toney socialized Bruno. Before Toney, anytime someone came near they were getting jumped on and nipped. After Toney’s 2 week miracle training, the nipping and jumping are gone. Now I can take him anywhere in public and I know he’ll listen. My anxiety around other people is gone! I can now walk him around Petsmart or Lowe’s and he hardly even acknowledges people or other dogs. I even walked him down the dog bone aisle and nothing. Toney and his crew are miracle workers. You made me a happy dog owner again. Anyone out there considering Board and train as an option, think no more and do it!!! Toney told me he would impress me, and I can say he absolutely delivered!!! Toney and his crew are fantastic. I have owned dogs for 20+ years and worked with different trainers from all over. Complete K9 is top tier! My teen son recently graduated basic obedience with his young dog. I was very impressed with the classes, and the outcome. As a result, I enrolled in intermediate obedience with my dog and am even more impressed. I have already asked Toney when the advanced class begins! The results speak for themselves. I have friends happy with the board and train program and friends happy with private training sessions. Complete K9 is hands down one of the most affordable dog training facilities in the area. AND a Veteran-owned company. If you need help with basic training, interested in AKC Canine Good Citizen certification, therapy or service dog training, personal protection, etc...Toney is your man!

The owners, Toney and Katie Turner, are wonderful, warm, and caring people!! They treat the dogs the same way they treat their own!! My dog and I are going through one of their training classes, and we couldn't be happier!! I am watching my puppy grow into a great, responsible dog!! They realize that all dogs are different and work to find each dog's learning style and preferences!! Highly recommended!!! Go see them, you'll be glad that you did!!

I've known Toney for over 10 years and have always been in awe of his training. As a disabled veteran living in Kansas, I couldn't find a dog trainer that would help with a service dog until I met Toney. I was randomly walking thru Walmart and saw a veteran with a service dog and I asked him where he got his dog, in which he told me about Toney. I've had 1 dog trained as my service dog before he passed recently and I couldn't be more impressed with how well my dog was trained by Toney. Toney is by far one of the best trainers I have ever met and I will and have always recommended him when anyone has asked about service dog training or basic/intermediate/CGC training.
