I took my dog to Complete K9 in Wichita, KS, and couldn’t be more impressed. Under the guidance of Toney Turner—owner and senior trainer—my dog made noticeable progress. Toney has over 15 years of experience, beginning in 2009, and brings real-world expertise from search-and-rescue and competitive K9 sports. We opted for private sessions to address specific issues such as leash reactivity and impulse control. Toney’s approach is hands-on, patient, and tailored to each dog—exactly what we needed. Scheduling was flexible, and the sessions blended the convenience of in-home visits with the structure of facility-based training. My dog responded very well to the program—learning basic obedience, improving impulse management, and becoming calmer and more responsive overall. Where do I start?! Amazing facility and even more amazing staff! I recently took my daughter's 12-week-old golden retriever, Lilly, to Tony for training so that she could aid in our eight-year-old daughter's anxiety. Of course, Lilly was a puppy, but she was a larger dog, and we wanted our daughter to be safe and comfortable around her. Lilly was with Tony and his staff for 4 weeks and came back a completely different dog! Our daughter was no longer being chewed on and Lilly was no longer jumping recklessly or trying to trip us going down the stairs. We were able to walk her with ease. On two different occasions we went to the facility for training US as well as Lilly. These trainings helped us so much. My daughter can now walk Lilly unassisted on our daily walks. She is doing great! I cannot recommend Complete K9 more!

I recently took my 1.5 year old golden retriever in for a two week board and train and couldn’t be happier with the outcome (and having him back… two weeks is LONG!). 3 weeks ago he would use his full body weight to pull on the leash - to the point where he choked himself- he was scared of things like garbage cans, mail boxes, and shopping carts, and he had no sense of recall or focus once his attention was divided. I love him to death… but he drove me crazy! I scheduled a private lesson with Toney first to see how Percy would respond to it. Within 20 minutes, I understood how to correct his behaviors, how to reward him in a way that makes him WANT to behave, and how to teach Percy and myself that I take the lead. You can see the love that Toney has for his job and these dogs. After the 2 week board and train, I took Percy on a walk at MY pace! Some minor correcting here and there as he is still like a puppy and excited, but he didn’t pull, he ignored the barking dogs and the garbage cans, he didn’t even glance at the kids playing basketball! It’s incredible. He has stopped running out of the door ahead of me, he listens well to his commands, and he behaves with a new sense of confidence! I will forever recommend the trainers with this facility!
