One of our rescues was a complete, unmitigated disaster when we rescued her. There was a few disclaimers that maybe weren't properly communicated to us about our dog when we got her from the shelter. Although she was sweet and cuddly when she wanted to be, she could also be a tyrant, bossy, and destructive. She was insecure and as a result, she acted out in several destructive ways - sometimes because she was scared or lost and sometimes because those behaviors were her defense mechanisms. For instance, she ate several couches and other pieces of furniture when we would leave for work. Sometimes, she would be aggressive with our other rescue for no reason. Then we heard about the wonderful job Gabby did with a friend of our's dog who was troubled. She had turned that dog around in a few short weeks. It was like night and day, so we decided to give Gabby a chance. And boy did she deliver! Gabby was fantastic. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She was able in assess our dog's issues and within 2 weeks of her training, Pandora was a new dog, full of love and life. Gone were the destructive issues! Our experience at this academy was by far the most positive experience I have had in the many years of being a pet owner. We became the proud owners of a beautiful german shephard puppy and not knowing much about the breed we decided to get professional training lessons. We started out with puppy training and signed on for level 1 and level 2 on site training packages. The owner was so knowledgeable. She not only helped us with obedience but was always willing to give advice about health, diet, grooming, socialization, proper equipment, etc. I highly recommend this facility for your training and equipment needs. You will not be disappointed.

Hands down. This is the place to choose for training your dog/companion. 5 stars for sure! Owned and run exclusively by Gaby (Gabriela Urevitch), this is a boot camp program for training your dog that is second to none. Gaby, alone, trains the dogs, and only accepts two at a time. She will spend much training time with each one of them. There are 5 acres of grounds for the dogs to roam. This includes a pond for them to enjoy, as well. The grounds are well maintained. There is even an obstacle course area for dogs to master. The kennels are clean and she is able to allow each dog his own space, with the opportunity to be outside during the day and sleep on a cot indoors, at night.. Water is always available for them. Owners supply their own food. There is just no doubt that Gaby loves her work and loves working with her dogs. The training was wonderful and completely what we wanted and needed. We adopted our dog, Jack, 18 months prior to our taking him to this Boot Camp. Although we thought we were “training” him, there were a few things we needed to overcome. Through Gaby’s training, we now have the understanding as to why our own techniques were not working. Plus, Jack needed to learn socializing with humans. Gaby took him on outings to Lowe’s and Starbucks, teaching him to trust us with his safety and to be unafraid. But, surprisingly, the training and help do not stop after boot camp. Gaby is “on call” via the internet, phone, or texting, even after the training is completed. We know this first-hand, as we have communicated several times already. Our Irish Setter, Jack, completed his boot camp in March 2014. Gaby sent us text messages, e-mails and photos during the time he was in training. In early January 2012, we adopted a beautiful 4 year old Doberman to help fill the void left by the unexpected death of our prior beloved Dobe. We knew that she was of Ukrainian decent and had done a bit of traveling around the globe. We also knew that the adoption agency had received the dog from her original owners, who had reluctantly left her with them, months prior to our appearance. Her issues with a new home and unknown humans came to light right away and the results were very troubling. However I clearly saw her sweet and loving nature. We discussed returning her to the adoption agency; however I knew that if we did, she would never be adopted by another family. The adoption agency suggested we contact Gaby at Complete K-9 Academy. We called Gaby to discuss our dilemma and agreed to bring Laika in for an evaluation. We had contacted several other trainers and picked Gaby because of her knowledge of Dobermans and more specifically European Dobermans. We expected that we would leave Laika at Complete K-9 Academy for a week of Level 1 & 2 Boot Camp. On March 3rd Gaby spent about two minutes with Laika before she, herself, became a victim of Laika’s unwanted behavior. The training was immediately upgraded to a 10 Day Behavioral Modification Boot Camp. Gaby gave us daily updates on Laika’s progress. Slowly, but surely, we saw that Gaby was gaining the upper hand. Gaby determined that Laika was High Anxiety, High Prey and Highly Intelligent – a not so good mix for a sleek and fast Dobe. When we returned 10 days later, the change in Laika was remarkable! Laika was excited to see us, however the control that Gaby had over her behavior was impressive. The next step was to train us on how to work with Laika to avoid the prior issues. Not only did that training occur at Gaby’s facility, but Gaby traveled to our home to further work on Laika’s issues. It has been over a year and we are extremely grateful for the patience and understanding that Gaby has shown not only Laika but us as well. Not only does Laika have more confidence in her surroundings, but we have gained confidence in Laika using the tools that Gaby has provided to us. Gaby taught us to allow Laika to use her intelligence in a controlled manner, to quickly & calmly react to reduce Laika’s anxiety in stressful situations and to realize her high prey drive. We are confident that this newly formed pack will exist for years to come, complete with lots of doggy kisses and snuggles, thanks to Gaby’s insight and dedicated work.

We adopted a German Shepherd from a friend without knowing what background he had. Knowing that German Shepherds can be a handful and have a bad reputation for being "vicious" my wife and I sought out a trainer that could help us make him a well rounded pup. Another friend spoke highly of Gaby and immediately after meeting her, there was no question she was the right trainer for us. A few weeks later, Kaine started Level 1 at her property. Little did we know, she trained us more than Kaine...haha. There were immediate results and the training has made Kaine an obedient, confident, and happy young adult. He is now just over a year old and we get compliments all the time how well he responds to us and minds his manner out in public. After training, we still visit Gaby, Kaya, and Kaiser and she has always been just a text or call away with any questions and help us resolve any behavorial issues.
