Lydia is amazing and passionate about what she does. It is a true talent that she has and working with her was one of the greatest blessings. Lydia truly understands and modifies each lesson to your needs as well as your pup. I came to her as a new puppy owner of a high energy german shepherd puppy that I knew needed some guidance, and our time spent with Lydia not only helped my pup but also helped me to better understand his needs and some great training techniques. I cannot recommend Lydia enough to those who are looking for a reliable and great trainer!!

My puppy Maggie and I could not have had a more positive experience with Lydia as our dog trainer. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, patient, and positive toward both her four legged friends and their owners. Her sessions were tailored toward exactly what I needed & wanted to work on with my mini Aussie. She understood my lack of experience and spent time not only with Maggie but also with me to ensure that I was comfortable with our “homework” for the week.  We learned so much from her during each session step by step directions, information specific to the breed and she allowed me to bring our golden retriever so that she could watch their interactions and gave me suggestions to improve their chaotic behaviors. She was also accessible between sessions via text to for any questions. Connecting with Lydia has been a gift. She’s not just a skilled trainer but she is an incredibly dear person. Maggie and I think the world of her!!!!

We had a great experience working with Liddy for puppy training classes! While we weren’t first time dog owners, changing breeds and sizes, we needed to feel confident in raising a dog that would complement our lifestyle and Liddy gave us that confidence She not only worked with us 1:1 to train our new puppy, but she taught us (and our kids!) how to train our dog at home between sessions and beyond puppy classes. It wasn’t just training, but her sessions helped us all bond with our new puppy. Anytime we needed tips or tricks, she was a simple message away. Her love for all dogs is evident and her knowledge of breeds and their behavior is exceptional-not to mention her prices are unbeatable. I would highly recommend an investment in training with Liddy to anyone having behavior problems with their furry family member or to anyone who has recently welcomed a puppy into their homes regardless of prior experience.
