Although Angie was kind, and probably a fun person to be around, she did not communicate with our dog. She started off by saying our dog was tired of being called “dumb”. We never call our dog dumb. In fact, she’s the smartest dog we’ve ever had and we often tell her so. When I told Angie that we never call her dumb, she said “oh, not by you, by others”. No, not even others call her dumb. So with her first statement, she had already missed the mark. We had to fill out some information before starting including members in the household and our address. As we went through the session almost nothing she said about our dog made sense. Toward the end, I asked if she could ask our dog how she feels about E, our other daughter who does not reside in our house but visits often. Although I didn’t share this with Angie at the time, our dog, absolutely LOVES E and they have a very sweet relationship. So when I asked Angie to ask our dog about E, I was hoping for an appropriate response, but instead she said our dog said “It’s too personal, she doesn’t want to talk about her”. Immediately after giving that response, Angie asked me who E is and I could tell she was a little surprised when I said she was also our daughter. That was when we knew for certain we were getting bamboozled. All in all, it was a waste of $90, which was what we kind of expected going into it. Live and learn.
