Compassion for Canines is force-free positive reinforcement dog trainer who specializes with dogs with serious behavior issues, such as reactivity and anxiety. Compassion for Canines only uses scientific methods based on the LIMA approach - least intrusive, minimally aversive. We specialize in behavior modification but will also teach cue communication to those who need it. Whatever your training needs, Compassion for Canines can help in a positive way to help strengthen bond with owner, which we believe can not be done through force. Compassion for Canines doesn't believe in "easy solutions." All behavior problems are complex and we get to the root of the prob. We teach owners how to communicate with their dog by learning their language.

They say you cant teach an old dog new tricks BUT Ashlie has really worked well with my fur babies the last few months! We have an end goal of having them pass the test and become a therapy dog with me and my mental health practice BUT I needed them to work on their manners first! Ashlie is flexible with my schedule and very patient with ME and the dogs! :) You will not go wrong with having her help your dog be successful!

Ashlie Taylor I would definitely recommend her to deal with any animal, she has a natural touch, very compassionate, and extremely patient. She helped me to be able to trim my Carly’s nails, who absolutely hated having them done, but with just a few weeks she helped me know the proper way, I am very pleased how she treats all animals 💯
