Can you still train a 7 year old male Maltese to stop using inside a home as his outhouse?
Yes u can just need to find out the reason he does it. Have vet check him over for a medical reason then if its not medical u can go on to the next step.

I have brought my standard poodle Cocoa to Glenna since I first got her at 12 weeks old. She’s now 8 months old and excelling in intermediate class, she is well behaved, knows how to heel, sit, lay down, stay, and much more. She has even received her Canine Good Citizen. I have really enjoyed working with Glenna and her other trainers, and Cocoa loves going to class too. I plan to continue to work with her so Cocoa can become a certified therapy dog in the future. I highly recommend Companion Dog for anyone who wants to learn how to train their puppy or dog, and also learn other fun things they can do with their dog like rally and obedience.
Trainer and her helper insist on cheese as a treat. My dog goes nuts and can't follow commands when cheese is involved. He also begs relentlessly- we put him in his kennel out in the garage when we have any kind of food.
We're three weeks into beginner classes and having a good learning a lot. The pup has a long way to go, but she loves going to school.
