Colorado Dog Academy

My dog does not like having her toenails clipped. She's a bit of a drama queen (part Husky) so I wasn't too hopeful when bringing her to Colorado Dog Academy. I was greeted by Alyssa, who was very professional and friendly. She told Rhianna, the groomer, we were there and they both took my dog back for her toenails. No yelping, just reassuring "good girl" praise. 😊 They did an awesome job!! She came out happy and her nails are beautiful and nicely trimmed. I'm THRILLED! We'll definitely be back! Thank you!!!!!!!

I strongly advise against bringing your dog to Colorado Dog Academy. My experience here has been nothing short of alarming. I witnessed behavior that raises serious concerns about the safety and well-being of the animals in their care. During my visit, I noticed signs of neglect and mistreatment, which made me question the facility's practices and standards. It’s clear that the staff do not take responsibility for their actions, as they were dismissive of the concerns raised. This is not just a business; it’s a place where our beloved pets should feel safe and cared for. The physical and mental well-being of dogs should be a top priority in any boarding or training facility, and I believe that Colorado Dog Academy falls drastically short of this standard. Pets are not just animals; they are family members, and I feel it’s vital to protect them from potential harm. I urge anyone considering this facility to think twice and explore other options. We owe it to our pets to ensure they receive the love and care they deserve. I will be reporting my concerns to the appropriate authorities to prevent any further incidents. This place needs to be held accountable for the safety of our precious pets.
