Jackie is fantastic! She's a wealth of knowledge and is very consistent in her training strategies. I'd highly recommend working with her. Within one week we had a whole new outlook on how to deal with our dog. Our dog doesn't love kiddos but our ultimate goal is to be able to keep her after our baby is born in January. That being said, we are starting at square one. Our dog is relearning many of the things that seem basic, but are completely complex for a dogs brain. Just as the dog is learning, so are we! It's been a great experience thus far, and we still have a ways to go. I'd recommend Colonial time and time again as your source for dog training!

Colonial Dog Training is amazing! I have a rescue dog who was found on the side of the road as a very young puppy and he has a lot of issues because of that. Kim is the third trainer I tried after being referred by a friend with her own rescue dog, and I’m thrilled to say i finally found someone who could help me. If you are willing to put in the work and do the training, you WILL see a difference after the very first session. It’s not easy because you’re training your dog that you are the leader and he is supposed to pay attention to what you ask him to do, but it really does work. Kim is wonderful to work with - she’s so professional and truly knows what she is doing. She actually takes you through a whole training program where each lesson builds on the previous one and your dog learns more and more challenging skills that make him more in tune to you and more able to listen in any situation. My pup and I are not done yet - we’re about 2 months in - but the difference is noticeable and not only to me. My neighbors routinely comment on how well behaved my dog is. I have already recommended Colonial Dog Training to several people and I will continue to!
