do you repair collars?
We can repair some older systems. We still repair older Tri-Tronics models, DT Systems, most Dogtra models & newer Garmin products. Note: We have to send Garmin products to Garmin to be exchanged.
Can a Lovetts add on beeper be repaired? It currently works sometimes and sucks batteries even when off.
They could only be repaired/replaced by Lovetts. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to get Lovetts products. We do accept them as a trade in toward something else & you will receive 10% off (up to $50) your new purchase.
I have a sportdog 425,I've changed batteries but still no reponse. Is it worth try to fix
Sometimes you can find the batteries off Amazon, or another off brand site. That's what we did.

SportDog Brand models are not repairable beyond battery replacement. Collar Clinic does offer a 10% off trade in credit (up to $50) for any old/non-working collars towards new or reconditioned systems.
Do these clowns at collar clinic actually repair collars and send them back to the propper adress yet ?
Collar Clinic repairs most Tri-Tronics, Dogtra and D.T. Systems remote trainers. We also service remote releases and some bark collars. We have been repairing e-collars since 1988.
I have a tritronics classic 70 2 collar w transmitter. Tone still works but won't shock, I'm assuming the batteries are expired. Are you able to fix this. Batteries & transmitter have been plugged in 24-7's sense it was new & not in use.
They will test and can replace what is needed. Not sure how much batteries or the prongs might cost if that is the issue. They're great to work with!
My remote goes red almost immediately after turning it on. I've had the batteries replaced but it still does the same, any suggestions? Is it worth fixing or should I just buy a new outfit? It still works but just goes red.
I'd go in and have them take a look at it. They are so helpful. We had a problem with our collar not working and they replaced it (of course it was still new). We have 3 dogs, 1 collar is older, we had a problem and they fixed it. I believe they have a diagnostic tool of sorts.
It all depends on if you want a newer collar or older top-of-the-line or novice all these things are factors what is the only place that I shop for all my e collars the staff is knowledgeable friendly and the service is off the charts

New remote training collars start at $169.99. No bark collars start at $49.99.
I would like to send my dog training collar to you for repair. What do I need to send with it? check?
John
Hi John, We ask that you send the complete system including chargers and a note with your contact information. We work on a flat rate fee which varies by model and manufacturer. We can call you for a credit card when it arrives or you can determine the flat rate for your model and send a check.

I have had an old TriTronics Classic 70 G3 unit for quite some time. Different things have happened to the unit over time, but it has been a very good 6 dog unit. Some time back the battery quit charging and I began looking for a replacement battery; which I found, but when I opened the bottom on the transmitter the two clips that connect the battery to the circuit board fell out. Feeling this was the charging problem I began searching for the clips, which I found for around $30. Instead of purchasing the clips I soldered a little jumper wire for the + and the - of the battery to the circuit board. After this I reassembled the transmitter and have used it for quite some time with no issues. (I do have an electronics background)
Recently the transmitter started shocking/beeping two dogs at the same time. I had worked with collar clinic before so I gave them a call. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice and said I could send the transmitter in and get it repaired for $69.00. I mailed the transmitter in and received a call from a technician name Paul within a day of the Collar Clinic receiving it. Paul was quite possibly the rudest individual I have ever dealt with. He repeatedly told me that I had “wrecked” and “trashed” the transmitter. He said “someone has been in here soldering and has trashed this thing.” He was talking about the soldering I had performed a long time ago to fix the battery issue. I would try to get a few words out to explain the battery was not the problem I was having, to be cut off as soon as I would begin to speak with “you have trashed, wrecked this thing.” I then let Paul know there was no need to be so rude and to let me talk to someone else. Paul transferred me to Jack and Jack was a night and day difference. Jack listened to the problem I was having with the transmitter and let me explain the battery soldering. Jack explained that they could not fix something that had be tampered with internally due to liability issues. (This I totally understand and I am wholeheartedly fine with) Jack apologized multiple times for Paul and worked with me to get a repaired transmitter sent out for me.
Reading other reviews, Paul may be a “valuable asset” but his customer service skills need to improve.

We had a nice unit bought years ago but the transmitter stopped working. We just mailed in as directed for a reasonable fee and it was returned working perfectly! Their turn around is very fast! Excellent company!
