Cold Nose Companions Dog Training

I went to Cold Nose a number of years ago for various obedience, therapy certification, Nosework, and a few other classes for my one dog. I recently rescued a dog, and she is very reactive towards other dogs, sometimes people and moving cars. Even though she is only 20 lbs, she is a handful during encounters, making going on walks not enjoyable for either one of us. We are now 3 weeks into the Chill class for reactive dogs, and I have seen improvement. We still have a ways to, but I know the outcome will continue to be successful, knowing I need to apply what I am learning at all times during our walks. Cold Nose Companions uses positive training. No punishment, choke or prong collars, and no shock collars. That is one reason I went to them, and I am so glad I did many years ago with my other dog. I would not recommend any other training facility.

First of all, I brought all three of my young children to our one-on-one dog training session. I did this partly because I didn't have childcare and partly because our dog, Roz, lives in a house with busy young kids! So from the start, we provided a unique challenge! That being said, we were very impressed. Christine was calm, direct, and professional. She made the experience uniquely tailored to our family and educated us on our dog's cues and needs.
