Coastal K9 Training And Behavior

Our adolescent rottie started displaying a number of unwanted behaviors over the last couple months that were becoming overwhelming for us, such as barking and lunging at other dogs, complete lack of focus on us, and a prey drive that was becoming unmanageable. We worked closely with Shannon and her team the last few months and they have really helped us turn her around. Shannon is incredibly knowledgeable and was so helpful in listening to our problems, analyzing our dog's behaviors, and flexible in deriving from the original plan when needed. She has also been a very supportive cheerleader. We still have a lot of work to do, but we've enjoyed working with Shannon and her team and are so grateful for their help. We look forward to further maximizing our dog's potential at coastalk9.

Highly recommend Shannon and CK9 for your dog training. We had tried several trainers with our 1 year old, 100Lb. German Shepherd before finding Shannon. At that time he was already huge and while lovable his obedience with commands and ability to interact with other dogs was non-existent. It was stressful. Forward to a year later, he has very good obedience, including off leash recall, and we are able to go on joint walks in the woods with a pack of other dogs. The most important thing we have learned from Shannon is to understand how our dog thinks, which has helped us anticipate and communicate with him much more effectively. We are throughly enjoying the freedom of beign able to safely take him everywhere with us.
