We worked with Shannon for our GSD and I cannot say enough about her and how she helped us. She is extremely organized, knowledgeable, and passionate about her work
Shannon was amazing with my dog Zona! My girl went for a two week stay and train and it’s the best decision ever! We went from a very hyper Goldendoodle who would harass our elderly chihuahua and now I have a well trained pup who gets along great with other dog’s! The whole feel of our home is much calmer and happier now that Zona is well behaved!! I highly recommend Best Paw forward !!

Shannon is an exceptional trainer who blends various methodologies and tools into a unique and highly customizable training program. We came to her because our new-to-us German Shepherd's prey drive made walks in our bunny-ridden neighborhood challenging. We felt we needed a training program beyond treats and verbal praise. Shannon delivered! After a thorough intake she trained us in proper heel techniques and how to reinforce positive behaviors and extinguish undesirable ones. Just a few days after our first session and we are already noticing our dog is listening and responding faster and more reliably. I feel more confident taking her outside and believe we are on our way to raising a well-mannered and obedient friend for life.

I can’t even express how happy we are with Shannon’s work. We have a 1 year old German shepherd who went away to training at a different facility and was abused. We were left to pick up the pieces and fix our boy who was a sweet heart before and became very dog and human aggressive after this experience. We reached out to Shannon for help. We met with her for a few private sessions, came to our house for help for a session and we did a week of board and train. Shannon has helped in every aspect with our boy. From the basic commands, off leash training, healing, AND able to meet new people and play nicely with other dogs. I would recommend Shannon to absolutely everyone! She has been there for us through this struggle and saved our boy.
