Originally from the UK, I now reside in Sarasota, Florida. I have gained extensive experience working with dogs since 1997 and have been professionally training since 2007, teaching group and private lessons. I have experience working with behavioral issues such as reactivity; and teaching dogs and puppies life skills, manners and obedience. My training approach is "least intrusive, minimally aversive" (LIMA), the aim of which is to train your dog with minimal adverse side effects. My training plan is adjusted for each and every dog.

Dawn, what are your charges for one-on-one training with older dogs?
Hi Peg. If I come to your home it is $75 an hour. If you come to my home $60 an hour. That includes, handouts and follow up questions that pertain to that lesson. 6 lesson package and 4 lesson package has a discounts. All prices are on my website. I am embarrassed to admit that I almost gave up on my puppy Ace and brought him to a shelter. I am a first time puppy owner, and I thought I bought a puggle and ended up with a pit mix (Craigslist special)! My father stumbled upon Dawn’s website and I was so close to cancelling our first of 6 sessions- boy am I glad I didn’t! I don’t even have the right words to describe how AMAZING Dawn is! She saved not only my puppy from going to a shelter, but saved our relationship. Ace is such a smart (but still anxious boy). I have all the right tools to have him be my best friend forever. I would recommend Coast Dogs Training to anyone 110% whether you’re just feeling overwhelmed or have a special case like me! Thank you for giving me my best friend Dawn!
We reached out to Dawn when our Goldendoodle was 4 months old & explained the difficulty we were having on our daily walks. We purchased 4 training sessions & now at 5 plus months he has become a pleasure to walk, we still enforce what Dawn has taught us. What Dawn was able to achieve in only a visits to our home was amazing!
Dawn was absolutely amazing! She was patient but firm, she helped my husband and I become better owners and our dog loved every training session with her! She was incredibly knowledgeable and her advice was invaluable. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer!
