My experience with Dawn was amazing! I came down to Siesta Key to visit my parents for a couple weeks and brought my one year old Cavapoo, Moose, who was in desperate need of some training. Upon meeting us, Dawn immediately diagnosed Moose as a “reactive” dog and quickly gave me the tools I needed to start to correct some of his not-so-great qualities. She was great about sending electronic guides and videos so I can revisit his training on my own schedule when I’m back home in NYC. She also understood how to train him for a city environment and was incredibly flexible to try to recreate that setting while down in the Sarasota area. I can’t say enough great things - very smart and very patient trainer! And a lovely and warm person to boot. Definitely recommend Coast Dogs!

I would absolutely recommend Dawn. She was able to detect our dogs problems, where as other trainers had overlooked the core issues.Without a shadow of a doubt she is the real deal. Dawn came to our home and did an amazing evaluation. She took her time with our Boxer and educated us on her behavior. She was very thorough. Dawn truly cares about the well being of the animal. She is amazing. Her ability to read animal behavior is incredible. I trust her 100% with our dogs.Her training session was made simple and fun for us and our dog. She is a gift from the stars.

I found Dawn online after reading many glowing reviews about her and her philosophy on dog training. I contacted her for training for my Standard Poodle puppy. She exceeded my expectations. Parker was a slightly fearful pup in certain situations and over the course of our sessions in her yard and at a nearby park she has truly blossomed to a joyful & playful pup who loves to learn. Dawns’s patience and techniques of positive reward training makes her an excellent trainer. I’m looking forward to some future sessions to reinforce what we’ve accomplished together.
