My dog had extreme separation anxiety. She was eating the blinds, barking non stop, ate at the bathroom and front door. She was able to break out of a normal crate by bending the bars. We got her an indestructible crate and she rubbed her muzzle raw trying to get out. Even having another dog in the house didn't alleviate the behavior. We even tried calming treats and anxiety meds! She was obviously in distress with being left alone, but my husband and I had to go to work. Coming home every day was a stressful event because you just knew it was going to be a mess. After working with Lorrie she is now able to relax in her crate for 4-5 hours! She gets in the crate willingly and doesn't bark while we're away. Her quality of life has improved drastically because of the training. She was also able to improve her basic commands and train *us* to be able to continue to work on her recall and obedience after training is complete. She obviously loves animals and I had full confidence that our dog was in good hands when she was dropped off every day!
