Co-Op K9 Training

We reached out to Megan after adopting our first bully breed. She was a sweet but shutdown dog when we adopted her. After her personality started coming out, we quickly realized we needed professional help. Bully breed dogs are judged harshly and we wanted our girl to be a great ambassador for her breed. When I tell you that Meghan is amazing, it’s an understatement! She is so knowledgeable about dogs, their personalities, and how to communicate most effectively with the dog. Our family learned SO MUCH throughout the private lessons and our dog is thriving in public and at home. Couldn’t be more grateful!

Our standard poodle, Beau, attended a puppy Board & Train week with Megan in January. This program at Co-Op K9 Training not only gave Beau a solid foundation, but it gave us the confidence and knowledge to continue developing these skills with him. Megan offers a top-notch experience for dogs, learning basic and necessary skills, managing their confidence levels, and offering experiences for the dogs in a variety of environments. Megan provides take-home information as a resource guide, and other activities for pets and their people throughout the year. I bought the t-shirt, I will use Megan and Co-Op K9 training again, and I highly recommend her.

I cannot praise how much Co-Op K9 helped me and my dog building a new relationship. I have a rescue boarder collie (mix) that was frankly terrified of everything. Cars, walks, other dogs, you name it. She had a high sense of anxiety making any and every daily task torture. Meagan flew out to California to spend a week implementing her training program, teaching us ways to build confidence all while establishing structure. She gave us tools, examples, drills, and a routine to help ease the issues we faced on a daily basis. Today, (7 months later) we have such a confident, sweet loving dog who loves to learn and finds satisfaction in STRUCTURE. I cannot say enough good things about Megan at Co-Op K9 Training! This is our second time going to her for dog training. She listens to what your concerns are and does everything in her power to help your dog overcome whatever challenge they are facing. She also makes sure when you get your dog back you understand the tools to help both you and your baby succeed! A bonus is she offers a “pack walk” once a month for all past or present clients so it’s a bonus learning session!
