Closed For Business

Well I was hoping not to have to write a bad review . But since the owner trainer that I put my dog in for board and training for a 8 week course. So that I could train him to be my service dog . We where told that they typically don't let you see your dog for 2 weeks because they where training him I was sent sent videos of Facebook messager so we set the appointment for a Saturday for 2pm . When that day rolled around I was ready to see my boy but at around 11.49 am I get a Facebook message saying she had to cancel do to her best friend ended up in icu okay I understand emergency but for 3 days straight I messaged her and called her and emailed her and didn't get a response until I posted on a site asking if anyone has ever pulled there dog out of board and training facility. Then I get a message on Facebook saying she was sorry that no one else has contacted me about setting up the appointment to see him I told her since I didn't know what is going on I was afraid that something bad had happened to my dog so went with my gut feeling to go pull him out im glad I did because communication is not good with this board and training facility or the owner trainer. She is more about german shepherds because when I pick up my dog she showed me my dogs ears had sores .she said it was do to him going hiking that day . Then she told me that my dog didn't like the sharp teeth of her shepherds if she thought that he was going to be an aggressive dog which he was already trained not to be do to the first person that was training him wrong he was corrected with the second trainer I hired. She told me she would finish the training that I paid 3240 for in the stores she has done 2 of them .but now she blocked me from Facebook. If I can save any one else from this place and I'm not the only one this is happened to I have had other people message me about her I read the reviews and I seen that she was great at first but until the communication stopped and to me you put your dog in someone else's care to train them and owning a business means communication. So please if you want to do business with them just make sure you don't do board and training. Unless it is in person training so you know how your dog is and being trained.. so since she is all about the money and not finishing the full training I paid for In advance because I set it up to make payments I put over 937 dollars to hold his spot for training when we dropped him off and then she wanted another payment so to me she is only wanting the money. To me she is taking on to much and can't handle doing it all when she has kids and trying to train the dogs . Please do your research. Sorry Nikki you had a chance to make it right but you chose not . I was hoping you would be you showed your me not . You would of gotten more business from me . But you have failed me and my boy .

I can't even express the gratitude I have for Nikki and East Tennessee Canine Academy. Nikki came through when I didn't think there was a chance my dog could be trained. Nikki is professional, patient, kind and an extremely talented trainer. She has gone above and beyond anything I could have expected and I expect a lot. If you are looking for an awesomely, outstanding trainer please call Nikki, you will not regret it. Thank you Nikki for teaching Hudson and I the tools to have a happy life together, you are the best!
