Close To Home

We left our dog Maggie with Close To Home this weekend. We were very satisfied with the care she received. Kristy was very professional and seemed to really care for her. I like the idea that she has the large yard for them to run and not left in a kennel all day. The place is so clean.She came home very tired and slept most of the afternoon. She is always so happy to see us when we get home but then she pouts and ignores us for leaving her.

Review from my mom: Close to home boarding facilities in Spanish Fort on Driftwood lane was great. In my opinion it is a 5 star place. The owner has baby cams where they sleep, so she can watch them all night, and she sent me videos and pictures, plus kept me informed on how my Gracie was doing. They have such a nice place to stay, plus a plush green back yard that's fenced in for them to play and potty. Gracie is not very social, but the owner brought out the social side of her, and she even made a friend. The owner is very professional, but also emotionally there for her boarders. Gracie had a great time, and I will be taking her up there again for a spell in about 3 months. There's a huge kitchen area, a TV. Couches, and dog beds on the floor. There's a sleeping area that is upstairs and downstairs.The main thing is that because of the owner, and the place being so roomy and well secured, I felt safe leaving Gracie there. Not once did I really worry. I would recommend Close to home to anyone who needs to board their pet. Vets usually keep dogs in kennels the majority of the time, and only take them out to potty, so Close to home is a better option. Thanks Close to home for making Gracie feel loved and like part of the family. Excellent job.

Close to home was fabulous. Kristi is very professional, but also gave my Gracie the emotional support she needed. I feel certain she does that for all the dogs there. I couldn't have been happier that my Gracie felt loved, and had fun being there. She truly was happy. She even made a friend. They have a super nice area to play in on the inside, and a fenced in plush green yard on the outside. The owner is always watching them, and spoiling them. I would recommend Close to home to anyone who wants a better experience for their dog .
