From the moment we dropped them off, I knew they were in good hands. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—just the kind of place you want your pets to stay when you’re away.
Kristy truly treated Gidget and Finn like they were her own, showering them with love and attention every single day. What made it even better was the daily updates—I received pictures and texts every day while I was gone, which gave me so much peace of mind. It’s clear Kristy loves what she does, and it shows in the care she provides.

Kristy let us tour the home and kennel area, as well as the outdoor roam and play area. All areas are clean and inviting. Woodrow was medicated as needed and few his preferred dog food, and we were updated regularly on his health snd activities while we were out of town.
We will definitely be using Close To Home services again!

Christi puts your pets needs first and she is diligent at making sure it’s a great experience for your fur babies and for the owners! From making sure that your pets are introduced to other fur friends in a non threatening, non aggressive manner to sending you pics from their fun filled play days. Christy is a dog whisperer 🤩. We have a 16 month old German Shepherd, Roxy, who is very sweet, yet timid. She had such a great time playing with the other dogs, which we credit Christy to assimilating her in ‘the pack’. Her boarding facility is comfortable, clean and air conditioned. It’s like a spa for dogs. We were worrIed Roxy was not going to want to leave 😂! Highly recommend her!

Wonderful , wonderful is how to describe Close To Home pet care. This was my first time taking my baby there. I’m so happy I found them. Such a peace of mind knowing your fur baby is loved and cared for!
