Training can start as early as 8 weeks old. Puppies are highly receptive to learning at a young age, making it an ideal time to introduce basic commands and socialization.

It's never too late to start training! Here at Clearwater Dog Training, we accept dogs of all ages and specialize in training rescue dogs. While puppies may learn more quickly, adult dogs can also learn new behaviors and commands with patience and consistency.

I brought my two dogs (age 8 and 8 months) to Gina and Tom for training. Within the first two weeks I noticed HUGE changes in how our little family interacted. The training really works and is very helpful. They teach and encourage the human to learn how to be a better dog parent. It has changed all our lives for the better. We are so thankful for their guidance and the great value we have received from our classes.

The trainers at pet smart kept us outside and wouldn't even consider my Woofy but within 10 minutes Gina the trainer had him laying at her feet eating out of her hands.

Found Gina and her school when we had adopted a young border-collie mix from a shelter that was too wild for us to handle. I had hoped she could find a home for Freyja as they are associated with Nikenos Rescue. Instead she helped us learn how to bond with Freyja, establish trust - and walked us through each step learning how to live with each other, including with our cat! It was an amazing transformation (for all of us) and now Freyja is as much loved as a child and we'd never give her up. Pretty miraculous seeing where we started. I highly recommend this down to earth and caring school and its staff.
