Training can start as early as 8 weeks old. Puppies are highly receptive to learning at a young age, making it an ideal time to introduce basic commands and socialization.

It's never too late to start training! Here at Clearwater Dog Training, we accept dogs of all ages and specialize in training rescue dogs. While puppies may learn more quickly, adult dogs can also learn new behaviors and commands with patience and consistency.

We adopted Louie about 3 yrs ago. He loves me and has not shown any aggression towards me. To others he is very agressive. I have worked with Gina and Tom for about 2 yrs. They were a godsend for me. Louie (and me) learned alot but at home and when we are out he is still aggressive. He now wears a muzzle and choke collar. If it was not for Gina and Tom I probably would not have Louie. It will be a contuned journey for us. Will probably grow old with them. They are professional, honest (even if you don't want to hear it), trusthworthy, kind, dedicated and hold me and Louie accountable.

Gina, is such a wonderful trainer and teacher. She knows dogs so well and she really helps us humans understand our four legged family members. I so recommend her as a trainer.

We are so grateful to the team at Clearwater for the exceptional training they provided to my highly rambunctious and very stubborn corgi. Whether it was in home training, group classes, and even overnight boarding, their approach was extremely effective. I still take Maple back to Clearwater periodically to reinforce her training and she is always thrilled to see Tom and Gina.

The trainers did not take a real interest in our breeds. Instead they acknowledged they didn’t have experience with our breeds and tried to train them like Belgian Malinois or German Shepards. Our big breed dogs are never going to be police/military dogs. They are their own special type of special. But this place doesn’t take the time to find out. We never completed the training we paid for. Didn’t even care about the lost money. Our dogs are happy and great on leash. And it’s in spite of Clearwater.
