Clawson's K-9s with Class

I can't recommend Clawson's K-9s enough. We were in a very difficult situation with our dogs, one being a rescue. From the very first conversation, John made us feel extremely confident we'd be able to address the problem and any other issues we had. More importantly, he made it very apparent that he loved dogs and quickly showed love to ours. We've dealt with trainers in the past that treat dogs more like objects than pets and John is not like that in the slightest. I'd rate 10 stars if I could!

We’ve been so fortunate to work with John over the last few months. Our situation was pretty dire and from the first conversation we had, it was clear that John not only understood what we were going through, but he cares about our dogs just as much as we do. He listened and asked questions to understand our issues and concerns. He immediately had recommendations for tools, routines, and boundaries that we were easily able to implement into our home. He was always firm but fair with both us as owners and the dogs, but never hesitated to be gentle when necessary. When it was obvious that one of our dogs was softer than the other, he immediately had us adjust our approach with her. We’re keenly aware that’s not something every trainer is able or willing to do. We are extremely happy with the work John has done with us so far and look forward to continuing our work. We can’t recommend him enough!

Hello everyone Well i don't even know where to start.Trainer John as we call him is a life saver literally. We brought our 5 year old pit mix to John after a freak accident with a bite. Charlie is not an easy dog and was totally freaked and worried the outcome wouldn't be good. With that being said Charlie will not let you by him if you don't know him from a puppy and really sucks. I called John very upset not sure where to turn and didn't think ever taking Charlie to a trainer would be possible.But vowed to try everything I could to help him. I told him everything about our situation. He welcomed us with open arms, and has been truly amazing with Charlie. John is the first new person that was able to walk ,handle or pet Charlie or even come near him.Mind you Charlie is muzzled at our sessions. John was able to handle him and remove his muzzle and pet Charlie. That is HUGE i mean HUGE in our life. I'm truly thankful to God for him, he is an Angel on earth for our furry companions and there owners. Charlie has a long way to go but we will be taking trainer John along our way. He set Charlie up with the right collar and the right techniques to successfully go for walks without pulling. Eating safely with crate training and so much more. I would recommend him 100% with your babies. His passion for this job is undeniable.Charlies outcome may have not been a positive 1, if it wasn't for John. You have to put in the work though and be diligent on what he teaches to be successful. He is full of knowledge and seems to be always looking to educate himself more and more on ways to help our pups. His passion is very evident. Charlie and I continue to work with John and that will remain. Looking forward to attending his pack walks and possibly group session with Charlie in the new year. please if you need help don't hesitate to give John a call.
