I recently completed a dog training course that exceeded all my expectations. One of the standout aspects was the effective use of prong collar training. The instructor was highly knowledgeable and demonstrated the correct and humane way to use the prong collar, which made a significant difference in my dog’s behavior without causing any distress. The course offered flexible scheduling, which was incredibly convenient for my busy lifestyle. I could easily fit the training sessions into my week, and the instructor was very accommodating when it came to rescheduling or adjusting the times. Speaking of the instructor, they were fantastic to work with patient, approachable, and highly skilled. John provided clear instructions and practical tips that were easy to follow and implement. Overall, this dog training course was a game-changer for me and my dog. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their dog’s behavior effectively and humanely.

I can’t say enough positive things about John. He is amazing at what he does! We have two Labrador retrievers (litter mates) who have been through training classes in the past. Despite their previous training, I was really struggling with our walks and reactivity. A few friends recommended John and I am so extremely grateful that they pointed us in his direction. He takes the time to assess the dogs individually and come up with solutions based on their needs/temperaments. He is calm and very knowledgeable. He always makes sure I’m comfortable with what we are doing and checks in to make sure everything is going well between sessions. My dogs love him as well!

I was recommended to see John by a previous client of his for training for our puppy Cane Corso who had severe confidence issues and was scared of everything. We sent her to John’s 3 week board and train, and could not have asked for a better experience. From day one he sent pictures and videos to keep us updated. He worked on so many aspects of her training and took her to so many places to experience so many different situations. John is so knowledgeable and so patient. He is firm and consistent, yet gentle. He loved our dog like his own and took such great care of her. Not only did he send videos to show what he was teaching her so we can do the same at home, he also sent an entire word document on every aspect of training. And if that wasn’t enough, he followed up after to make sure we came to some group classes. He doesn’t just drop you and forget about you. I can’t say enough positive things about John, and how much he positively transformed our dog.
