CJ’s Golden Home (Golden Retriever puppies) & Play Nice Therapy Dog Training

We met Jessie and Chris in 2024 when we put a deposit on an English Cream puppy, and they were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Communication was excellent the whole way through, and it’s continued even after bringing Archie home. They do an amazing job preparing their puppies for real life by exposing them to everyday sounds like vacuums and sudden noises, which really shows. Jessie also provided access to a 24-hour live cam and regular updates, which made the experience even more special. We really appreciated that they medically test the parents before breeding, giving us confidence in Archie’s health. Chris also offers obedience and therapy training, which speaks to their knowledge and commitment. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend CJ’s Golden Home!

We have nothing but positive words to say when it comes to Jessie and Chris and their knowledge, love, care, and professionalism when it comes to our experience purchasing a puppy from Josie and Cadet’s litter! We were picking from out-of-state, but it wasn’t hard at all! Jessie gave us access to watch the pups on the ring cameras and we attended the adoption day virtually. When we got our sweet girl at 8 weeks and went to her first vet appointment, the vet was very impressed with Jessie and Chris’s records that they kept of dates/weight/growth stats. It is clear that they cared so much for the pups and were very thorough in keeping records for each one. Our sweet Remi is now almost 6 months old and she is healthy and thriving. We are so happy with her, we are seriously considering another getting another golden from Jessie and Chris in the future. We recommend everyone to CJ’s Golden Home. We adopted our second pup from CJ’s Golden Home this year. Jessie and Chris really go all out to make sure families are included in every stage of the process. We get access to 24 hour live nursery cams as the puppies grow (and learn and play). They host a very fun selection party with games and prizes and we really felt like our puppies were cared for in a transparent, ethical, and professional manner before they came to our home. After your pup comes home they offer training options for general puppy training, up to therapy dog certification if you want it. We highly recommend!
